As another semester comes to an end here at USI, it's time for me to once again reflect on the things I've learned:
1) 3 years of FRENCH in high school + 1 semester of college SPANISH with kids who already know spanish = a lot of confusion
2) after a summer of running up a $1500 credit card bill, then paying it off, don't come back to school WITH the credit card, thinking you wont use it. You will, and you'll end up in debt.......AGAIN.
3) do not work at Wal Mart unless you plan to make a career out of it......they are slave drivers
4) don't get a chicken sandwich at the on-campus Burger King.....it's always full of fat balls
5) In contrast to last year....apparently now its a requirement to have a gold tooth in order to work at BK...not just the loft
6) Don't call in sick to work 3 times in 3 months....they're gonna start asking for doctor's notes
7) Don't skip a class so much that the professor looks suprised to see you there when he's passing back stuff
8) When you're pissed off in Spanish class because you dont know whats going on, dont respond to the teacher's question (when he is speaking in spanish) with "I have no idea what you just said." Then, when he is turned around at the chalkboard, refrain from saying to the person next to you, "I hate spanish."............
9) when you know you have to go to a lab once a week throughout the semester, don't wait until the last week of school and try to go 5 times a day. It just doesnt work.
10) dont start a blog, because you'll end up blogging when you should be studying for your SPANISH FINAL.
