BOO TO:
having no money and being forced to leave the air conditioning off in an attempt to lower the electric bill. therefore living in a sauna 24 hours a day. basically when i come home from class i live in my swimsuit....it gets up to 90 degrees in this crib.
one of the boys stacy hired being engaged. damn happy couples. dont you see it's futile? trust me, you'll see it one day.
midterm on friday- and i havent read anything all week. i should be doing that tonight...because i have to work all night tomorrow.....but will i? hmm. probably not. i am the definition of procrastination.

Long one
oh im so excited to get my internet back. now i just have to get a phone and im good to go. so where do i begin? it's been quite a while. hmmm. i dont have a very good long-term memory, so i cant go back very far.
work is good. except beth is leaving. and that sucks. but i dont blame her. im going to start looking for a second job, because im just not working enough to pay the bills. stacy hired a new guy, and he took my hours for this weekend AND next week.
friday night i went out with tina, julie, julie's cousin, mike, and one of his friends. it was fun. we started out at pepe's, where no one spoke english. they seated us in the party room, and we were there probably a half hour without a waitress EVER coming to our table. we kept asking the busboys and waitresses if we could have a WAITRESS, and they thought we were saying could we have more CHIPS. so they brought us a bowl of chips every time.
i have to work tonight. blaaaaah.

A blog in my absence....
so i am sitting in the computer "lab" at copper creek. we get passes so that we can come into the lab or gym whenever we feel like it. it's awesome with the gym, which is actually just a small weight room with one treadmill, but it has a big tv. i've been going in there late at night, which is cool cuz no one is in there and i feel like it's my own private home gym!
and the computer "lab" isnt really a "lab". it's 2 computers in a room with a fireplace, big screen tv, kitchen table, and sink that is oddly reminiscent of a high school chemistry lab sink. i dont quite understand the logic behind this room...but im guessing they're going for the homey/schooly/officey feel.
and i do believe i am the only person in this wide world we call copper creek that even USES the facilities here. well, the lab is connected to the laundry room (which i have yet to use...im frightened of the laundro-matedness of it), and there are often weird people in there. but late at night when i come here to check my email or something, im always alone. sometimes it gets a bit horror movie'ish, but i ignore that feeling.
